Two people were found in a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex, Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. Greg Lyon said.

The driver was dead from a gunshot wound, while the passenger was suffering from injuries sustained when the vehicle crashed into a curb, he said. The survivor was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
