The Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department and the Kennesaw City Council are seeking input from the community for the Kennesaw Park Facilities Master Plan Update.

Kennesaw officials are conducting surveys to provide guidance for future improvements to the city’s parks, recreation, greenspace and trails over the next 10 years, according to Kennesaw Communication and Engagement Manager Becca Graham.

City residents have two chances to weigh in on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan: one survey by direct mail and one public at-large survey by the internet, occurring now through 5 p.m. May 29.

“These surveys will give us an opportunity to develop the department’s vision for the future,” said Kennesaw Parks and Recreation Director Steve Roberts. “Community involvement is critical to updating the master plan.”
