Several city fee additions were approved recently by the Kennesaw City Council.
Among them are:
- A $10 fee for video duplication of police body-worn or in-car devices
- A $50 per-unit fee for multi-family permits at $50 each for plumbing, HVAC and electrical
- A one percent technology fee for sign permits with a $10 minimum fee
- A $25 fee for a tree removal permit to include inspection
- A $100 burial permit for cremation internment
The city’s Smith-Gilbert Gardens simplified some of the fees for use of buildings, added notice of an online service fee for credit card payments, added guided tour pricing for adults and children and updated fees or references to photography.
The Southern Museum clarified event operating hours and dates for holidays, reduced the hourly rental rate and deposit for the classroom from $100 to $75 and added the ability for a full museum rental.
