Charred body found in trunk of burning car

Officials found a body in the trunk of a flaming car Monday morning, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan told the newspaper the man was “charred beyond recognition,” and that it is impossible to determine his identity at this time.
