A man accused of stabbing his wife to death during a custody swap at a Walmart parking lot in Suwanee is set to stand trial in Gwinnett County this week.

A jury was being selected on Tuesday for Phillip Chad Dunn, of Lawrenceville. Dunn's children, ages 6 and 8, were present when Dunn allegedly stabbed their mother, Shelley Dunn, 27, several times in the back and then stabbed himself in the chest on Valentine's Day 2010.

Shelley Dunn was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at an area hospital. Dunn also was hospitalized, but released later that day. He has since been held without bond at the Gwinnett jail on charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and third-degree cruelty to children.
