Jones, Totenberg sworn in as new judges

Steve Jones and Amy Totenberg have been sworn in as new judges on the U.S. District Court in Atlanta.

During a private ceremony on Friday, Chief Judge Julie Carnes swore in Jones, a former Superior Court judge from Athens, and Totenberg, a former Atlanta lawyer who served as an arbitrator and mediator. The two new judges were confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Feb. 28. Both will now begin judicial training and later will have their formal, public investitures.
