Johns Creek has put out a call for 15 volunteers to serve on the city’s Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee.

The city seeks residents from various parts of the community to advise the City Council on matters of policy and recreational programs at Johns Creek Recreation & Parks. Committee members would be appointed by the mayor.

Volunteers are asked to live within city limits throughout their respective terms, and to regularly attend committee meetings. An online application form can be filled out at: http://bit.ly/2tm120c

Recreation & Parks, part of the Public Works Department, maintains more than 200 acres of parkland and nature reserves and provides activities and sports programs for youth and adults, according to its website.
