Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker and the City Council have scheduled a quarterly town hall meeting to “engage and dialogue with the public,” officials said.
The meeting is set for 7 to 9 p.m., Oct. 12, at Park Place at Newtown School, 3125 Old Alabama Road. Bodker will open the meeting with highlights of the recently approved budget and an update on road projects funded by the Transportation Special Purpose Local Optional Sales Tax.
The city has said the budget prioritizes spending for public safety, traffic congestion relief and parks and recreation. The council also recently assigned priority to four road projects to be funded by the TSPLOST: McGinnis Ferry Road, State Bridge Road, Barnwell at Holcomb Bridge roads and the Bell Road/Boles Road Corridor.
