The Johns Creek Public Works Department this week will launch the sixth year of its neighborhood repaving program, with six subdivisions scheduled to get renewed streets this year, according to a city announcement.

A repaving schedule has been posted to the city's website: https://bit.ly/2zx9YV9 All work is subject to change due to the weather and availability of crews, the city said.

Repaving is to begin Tuesday in the Glenhurst subdivision, followed by The Reserve at Wellington, May 1; Oak Bridge, May 5; Saddle Brook, May 6; and Riverwood and Thornhill, dates to be announced.

Four main roads will be repaved this year, on dates to be announced: Alvin, Kimball Bridge, State Bridge and Parsons roads. The Newtown Park parking lot also will be repaved.

"Rest assured that we intend to work as fast as possible while maintaining the quality that Johns Creek residents expect," the city said. "Paving will be done during daylight hours." Information: https://bit.ly/2VXfZ52
