Invitation to fake disaster

Fulton County Fire Rescue Department will hold a mock disaster Saturday at its training center at 3025 Merk Road, College Park, GA from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program volunteers  from multiple jurisdictions, including Alpharetta, Atlanta and Sandy Springs, will participate. The program educates people about preparing for disasters and hazards and how to respond to them, including fire safety and disaster medical operations.
