One person was injured Sunday when a MARTA bus struck a telephone pole and a tree before overturning in South Fulton County, police said.
The Route 71 bus wrecked at about 3 p.m., said Kay Lester with Fulton County police.
The driver refused medical treatment but the single passenger on the bus was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital.
The accident occurred on Kimberly Road just south of Cascade Road. Kimberly Road was closed temporarily.
Route 71 runs mainly along Cascade Road from MARTA’s West End station.
