Honorary Commanders Association seeking applications through August

The Honorary Commanders Association, a yearlong program that pairs community and business leaders with military personnel to foster a better understanding of military activities, is seeking nominations for its 2014 class. The program is a cooperative between the Cobb Chamber, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, General Lucius D. Clay National Guard Center, and the Navy and Marine Corps. Each program event covers a branch of service and includes a behind-the-scenes tour of local and regional military sites. Nominations close Aug. 5. Visit cobbchamber.org/hca.
