Henry schools ready for accreditation check-up

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools will visit Henry County schools next month for a regular five-year check-up to determine if the district meets national accreditation standards.

Accreditors are scheduled to tour schools May 1-4 as part of the school system’s five-year quality assurance review, district spokesman Tony Pickett said Tuesday. Henry schools are fully accredited by SACS and the Georgia Accrediting Commission, Pickett said.
