Henry County government employees enrolled in the county’s health insurance plan will soon have their own on-site health clinic. The Board of Commissioners approved the creation of the facility at a called March 31 meeting. It will be in the Community Room of the Public Safety Building at 110 S. Zack Hinton Parkway in McDonough and is expected to open in October. Commissioners also approved a resolution adding a second potential carrier to the employee health insurance plan and covering this year’s 10.5-percent premium increase to help lessen the burden on employees.
