The Henry County Board of Education will consider the possibility of broadcasting its meetings live on the Internet after a feasibility study is completed on the topic.
It was discussed at the board’s May 3 study session, and staff was directed to take a look at the personnel and equipment needs as well as the costs associated with it. A report to the board is expected at the June 7 study session. Several citizens spoke at the board’s May 8 regular meeting in favor of the move.
The county commissioners already live-stream their meetings, as do the city councils in McDonough and Stockbridge.
