The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted recently to approve engineering design services in the amount of $1,464,354.90 for the widening of Rock Quarry Road in Stockbridge.
According to county officials, about 80 percent of that money is coming from federal funds with the rest budgeted in the county’s current penny sales tax called SPLOST.
