Henry County commissioners approve road work bid

Resurfacing work will start soon on five Henry County roads.

The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted recently to accept a $1,194,211.50 bid from E.R. Snell Contractor Inc. for milling and resurfacing of five roads: Old Conyers Road from Flat Rock Road to Flat Shoals Church Road, Flat Rock Road from Millers Mill Road to Hwy. 138, Banks Road from Flippen Road to Rock Quarry Road, Tye Street from Banks Road to Red Oak Road and Crumbley Road from Hwy. 138 to east of Creekside Drive.

All of Tye Street and a portion of Banks Road are in the city limits of Stockbridge.
