Henry County announces Teacher of the Year semifinalists

The Henry County School System named its semifinalists this week for the annual Teacher of the Year award: Bonita VanHook-Adams, Cotton Indian Elementary; Sarah Barnett, Woodland High; Lisa Hash, Eagle’s Landing Middle; Steve McDonald, Woodland Elementary; Darci Parken, Henry County Middle; and Dr. Mohan Sadhasivan, Stockbridge High. There are two semifinalists from each school level, and the finalists and ultimate winner of the district award will be revealed during the annual Harvest of Heroes Oct. 22 at the Performing Arts Center.
