Heavy rain that earlier flooded metro Atlanta roads has cleared, Channel 2 Action News reported.
But flooding is still a concern in Alpharetta and other parts of the metro area, Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
Many of us won't hit that 50° mark today. Rain is over but the clouds remain. The timing for when they clear at 6! pic.twitter.com/qvOjm3VMBg

Nearly 2 inches of rain fell at the airport Sunday, Monahan said.
Currently, the temperature in Atlanta is 47 degrees.
Skies will be cloudy, but sports fans planning to head out to Superbowl parties won’t have many concerns on the roads.
“We’ll be at 50 degrees by 7 p.m.,” Monahan said.
The high on Sunday is 53 degrees.
By Monday morning, skies will be mostly clear.
“A beautiful Monday with lots of sunshine is on the way with a high of 51 degrees,” Monahan said.
