Harold’s Chicken & Ice Bar, at 349 Edgewood Ave. SE, scored a 65 on its Monday inspection. Any score below a 70 is considered failing.

Issues regarding lack of soap at employee sinks, black buildup in the ice machine, and foods not stored at proper temperatures were some of the issues noted in the health inspection report.

A manager was not available for comment.

The restaurant, which has been at its Atlanta location since 2012, scored a 91 on a November health inspection and a 73 on an October health inspection.

Follow-up inspections are usually done within 10 days of the original evaluation.

This Harold’s location is a spin-off of the original Harold’s Chicken Shack, based in Chicago.
