Hapeville program to paint some houses

Hapeville’s Paint the Town Program is a neighborhood revitalization project that helps paint houses of homeowners that are no longer physically or financially able to do so. Hapeville Cares Community Volunteer Group started this project in 2013 with the collaboration of the City of Hapeville and the Hapeville Arts Alliance.

A PTT committee will select single family one-story dwellings for full exterior painting, curb appeal painting, and beautification of yards from the qualified applications received. The selection will be based on qualified homeowners meeting the requirements of PTT 2015 criteria.

Applications may be picked up at City Hall through May 15. Paint the Town will begin June 13 and run through June 18. apeville Cares will be heading-up the volunteer effort, donations of cash to help with materials, such as volunteer t-shirts, signs, water, lunches, and paint brushes will be tax deducible.
