A Gwinnett County woman was killed Saturday in a predawn crash on an Atlanta interstate ramp.

Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos said the single-vehicle wreck happened about 5 a.m. on the Brookwood Interchange ramp from I-75 southbound to I-85 northbound.

Campos told the AJC that a 2012 Toyota Corolla driven by Stephanie Jang, 20, of Duluth, left the roadway and struck an embankment.

Jang and a passenger were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition. A second passenger died at the scene, Campos said.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the deceased passenger as Patricia Lie, 21, of Suwanee.

Campos said Jang was charged with DUI, reckless driving, homicide by vehicle and failure to maintain lane.
