The Georgia Supreme Court has unanimously upheld the murder conviction and life sentence against a man who fatally stabbed his wife in a Walmart parking lot in Suwanee as the couple’s two young daughters watched.

The court rejected the appeal of Phillip Chad Dunn, who killed his wife Shelley on Valentine’s Day in 2010, after learning of her adulterous affair. Dunn had previously been convicted of aggravated assault for choking his wife two weeks before the murder.
