Gwinnett dedicates greenway trail in Suwanee
Gwinnett County has opened a new section of the Ivy Creek Greenway at George Pierce Park in Suwanee.
County officials will dedicate a 1.25-mile trail section today. An additional 2.7 miles of the greenway runs from the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center to the Mall of Georgia area.
Construction of the next phase of the Ivy Creek Greenway – from the environmental center toward I-985 – will begin next year. Eventually the trails will link to form a 7-mile greenway system.
