An O’Charley’s restaurant in Gwinnett County failed its latest health inspection, records show.

The family-friendly eatery’s Scenic Highway location in Snellville scored a 64/U on the inspection. The inspector found a fruit fly in a liquor bottle and said in his report that two bottles had flies in them during the previous inspection.

Other violations included employees drinking soft drinks while working and leaving open drink containers near the prep kitchen and bar. Health and choking posters were not in plain view, and a can of artichoke hearts was dented.

An O’Charley’s manager referred questions to the company’s corporate office. The company released this statement:

“O’Charley’s is dedicated to providing quality food to our guests. Since these scores were given, we have already begun to address these issues. We use an independent third party to evaluate our safety and health standards and are making immediate adjustments to our procedures as needed. O’Charley’s values the safety of our guests and upholds all of our restaurants to specific standards.”
