Gwinnett Commissioners recently approved a zoning change to allow John and Cindy Crews to convert a single-story brick home in the 2800 Block of Centerville Highway in Snellville to office space. The property sits on the west side of Centerville Highway, north of its intersection with Parkwood Road within the Centerville Highway Overlay District.

The plan includes no modifications to the 2,744 square feet residence when it is converted to a professional office. Conditions of approval include limiting the office uses to accounting, architecture, engineering, doctor, dentist, chiropractic, insurance, law or real estate offices. Other restrictions include guidelines for landscape buffers, signage and lighting.
