Aldi’s Dacula store is re-opening on July 11 with a new layout and celebrating by giving away 100 gift cards.

The store was closed May 19 and remodeled as part of Aldi’s $49.5 million metro Atlanta upgrade plan. The German grocery chain has committed to updating 42 of its metro Atlanta stores by the end of 2020.

The Dacula store has a layout that the company says will be more efficient for busy shoppers. The remodel also includes more refrigerator space that will accommodate “the fresh, healthy and convenient products people want most,” according to a company press release. The store will have new products representing 20% of its stocked items, the release said.

The Dacula store will celebrate its re-opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. July 11. Following the ceremony, the first 100 people who walk into the store will get a gift card as part of Aldi’s “Golden Ticket” giveaway. The gift cards will range in value from $5 to $100.

Once re-opened, the Dacula Aldi will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
