The sound of gunfire in southeast Atlanta led police to 600 pounds of marijuana Sunday morning.
Police looking for the source of the gunshots found a bullet-riddled truck at the intersection of Farrington Avenue and Martin Street near D. H. Stanton Elementary School.
No gunshot victim was immediately located, but in the truck police said they found more than 50 bales of marijuana. Police later said they'd found about 600 pounds of marijuana and "several thousand" in cash.
