An early Monday morning fire has closed the Dave & Buster’s on Sugarloaf Parkway in Gwinnett County.
No injuries were reported.
The grease fire caused moderate damage to the kitchen at the Sugarloaf Mills Mall location near Lawrenceville, Capt. Tommy Rutledge of the Gwinnett County fire and emergency services said in an emailed statement.
Firefighters were on the scene just after 5:30 a.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the roof. The fire was put out before 6 a.m. The fire apparently started on a stove, Rutledge said.
Investigators said the fire appears to have been an accident.
The business will be closed until the damage is repaired, Rutledge said.
