Grayson approves contracts for construction, repairs

The Grayson City Council voted Monday to approve several quotes for work around town. The largest contract at $322,000 went to Surfaces Group LLC for the city hall parking lot expansion. Bailey Construction and Landscape Group will handle repair of two sinkholes for $10,960, not to exceed $12,000, in Herring Ridge and Wilshire subdivisions.

An additional $2,410 was approved for consultant fees for additional structural, electrical and sound/lighting design for the Ampavilion. Finally, the council gave approval to Georgia Safe Sidewalks for $2,545 for sidewalk repairs in Madison Park subdivision.
