Gov. Deal speaks to Cobb chamber

Interest in Deal's speech brought a change of venue. The chamber normally holds its first Monday breakfasts at the nearby Marriott but it was moved because of members' interest in hearing from Deal.

Gov. Nathan Deal spoke to about 600 members of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Deal presented an overview of issues facing the legislature -- ranging from the HOPE scholarship to state water issues. He addressed the members with a hopeful note in regards to job creation and business growth.

Wells Fargo sponsored the breakfast and had a stage coach parked in front of the entrance Monday.

Gov. Deal exits the breakfast event at the Cobb Galleria Centre Monday. Deal spoke to some 600 members of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Monday, Mar. 7, 2011 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. He presented an overview of issues facing the legislature -- ranging from the HOPE scholarship to state water issues.
