Give Back Connection: Teachers, grant writers needed

SEEKING ADULT ED TEACHERS

The Community Assistance Center brings together the Sandy Springs and Dunwoody communities to provide compassionate assistance to neighbors in need by providing financial support, helping to meet basic needs and promoting self-reliance. CAC needs volunteers to teach job and life skills during evening adult education classes. Classes include English and computer skills such as typing, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m. Monday - Thursday

GRANT WRITER NEEDED

People United Foundation Inc. needs volunteers to serve onsite and/or remotely via internet researching and preparing grant proposals to help achieve the mission “to build sustainable communities of educated leaders and entrepreneurs.”
