Family food fest needs help for Fathers Day event
The inaugural Family Food Fest Atlanta culinary experience at the Georgia Aquarium on Father’s Day is looking for volunteers to help with setup beforehand, serving during the event and take down afterward.
The multicultural affair will feature more than 100 dishes from celebrity chefs, cooks, caterers, restaurants and everyday dads or men who serve in mentor roles for youth. A few of Atlanta’s top female chefs will serve up some tasty dishes too.
Partial proceeds benefit the nonprofit VSNS Inc. (Visions) a 501.c3 organization that focuses on eradicating health disparities in inner city communities through screenings and education.
