Watch babies, children at the Foster Care Support Foundation
Foster Care Support Foundation serves a vital and growing need throughout Georgia by providing free clothing, infant equipment and developmental toys to thousands of children in foster and relative care. FCSF has been in operation for 17 years and has served over 50,000 children with free clothing, toys, school supplies and safe infant care items throughout every county in Georgia.
There is always work to be done to help the children. The organization needs volunteers different ways.
Volunteers ages 16 and older are needed Tuesday through Saturday. Children under 16 may come in limited numbers as long as they are accompanied with a parent for every two teens. MedShare Southeast needs medical supplies sorters
MedShare volunteers typically work to sort and package surplus medical supplies to be sent overseas. The sorting sessions are three hours long in the sort room of our Decatur facility, which is heated / air conditioned. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age or older to volunteer on their own. An orientation is performed at the beginning of the session, so punctuality is important. If you would like to volunteer as an individual, simply note your availability for the days you would like to sort with us and we will plan to have you in at those times.
When: ongoing
Where: 3240 Clifton Springs Road, Decatur
