Girl, 5, hit by stray bullet at DeKalb apartment complex

A 5-year-old girl was wounded Sunday night when she was struck by a stray bullet at a DeKalb County apartment complex.

Channel 2 Action News reported that an argument between two people in the parking lot of the Highland East Atlanta apartments near Flat Shoals Road escalated into gunfire.

A stray bullet went through an apartment window and hit the girl.

Police have not released the girl’s name or condition, and have made no arrests.
