You can get screened for more than a dozen diseases and chronic health conditions at U.S. Rep. David Scott’s annual health fair in Jonesboro.

Scott, a Democrat representing the southern and western Atlanta suburbs, has held the health fair for 14 years, providing constituents with free medical services from area nonprofit groups and healthcare providers.

This year’s event will be on Saturday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mundy’s Mill High School in Jonesboro.
