The Gwinnett Chamber will host Curtis Foltz, executive director of the Georgia Ports Authority 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 4 at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.

As executive director of the GPA, Foltz oversees all port activity involving the deepwater ports of Brunswick and Savannah, as well as inland terminal operations in Bainbridge and Columbus. He administers a $300 million annual budget and with nearly 40,000 people employed in the production, transportation and material moving occupations in Gwinnett. The GPA serves as a critical conduit for the moving of material and products.
