Job hunting can be tough no matter where you live, but some states may give you better luck than others. Unfortunately, Georgia may not be one of them, because it has been named one of the worst states for jobs by WalletHub.

The finance website came up with its results for the 2017 list by analyzing the 50 states using 24 metrics including unemployment rate, median annual income and job security. Those sections were filtered into two major categories: job market and economic environment.

Georgia came in at No. 37. Washington took first place and Colorado second.
The Peach State ranked low on the list overall, but it was No. 2 for highest employment growth while Washington and Colorado did not crack the top five.
Georgia wasn’t the only Southern state to fall to the bottom of the pack. Overall, Arkansas was No 39, Mississippi was No. 46 and Alabama was No. 47.
However, Tennessee and Florida made the top 10 at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively.
