GDOT sets ramp, lane closures for I-285/Ga. 400 project

Additional overnight ramp and lane closures have been announced for the coming days for the reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

All closures are weather permitting and subject to change, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The exit ramp from eastbound I-285 to Roswell Road is closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, GDOT said.

Also from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., two right lanes of westbound I-285 will be closed Wednesday through Thursday from Roswell Road to Lake Forrest Drive; two right lanes of westbound I-285, Wednesday through Saturday from Ga. 400 to Glenridge Drive; and two right lanes of I-285 eastbound, Wednesday through Saturday from Glenridge to Peachtree Dunwoody Road.

Finally, Abernathy Road will be closed for bridge construction at Ga. 400 continuously from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday through Monday. The ramp from northbound Ga. 400 to westbound Abernathy (Sandy Springs) also will be closed.
