GDOT sets lane, ramp closures for I-285/Ga. 400 project

Double lane closures are planned overnight for I-285 and Ga. 400 as their interchange is rebuilt in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Weather permitting, the two left lanes of westbound I-285 will be closed nightly for bridge construction from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, through Friday, Feb. 22, from Peachtree Dunwoody to Roswell roads, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. Separately, two right and two left lanes of northbound and southbound Ga. 400 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday between Hammond Drive and Abernathy Road, GDOT said. Also Monday-Friday, one left lane of I-285 eastbound will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m., and two left lanes of I-285 wesbound will be closed from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m., between Roswell and Peachtree Dunwoody roads.

Additionally, the following ramps will be closed: northbound Ga 400 to eastbound I-285, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 to Friday; eastbound I-285 to northbound Ga. 400, 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday to Saturday, Feb. 23; and northbound Ga. 400 to eastbound I-285, 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday to Saturday, and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, to Monday, Feb. 25.
