Fulton County encourages residents to avoid long Election Day lines and take advantage of early voting that begins Oct. 16 at 22 locations across the county, including at eight polling places in Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell and Sandy Springs.

Early voting for the Nov. 7 municipal general and special elections will be from Oct. 16 to Nov. 3. Voting hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Polling places also will be open one weekend, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Oct. 28, and noon to 5 p.m., Oct. 29.

The North Fulton polling places are at the Alpharetta Branch Library, 10 Park Plaza; Johns Creek Environmental Campus, 8100 Holcomb Bridge Road; Robert F. Fulton Ocee Library, 5090 Abbotts Bridge Road, Johns Creek; Milton Library, 855 Mayfield Road; East Roswell Branch Library, 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road; Roswell Branch Library, 115 Norcross St.; North Fulton Service Center (Room 232), 7741 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs; and Sandy Springs Library, 395 Mount Vernon Highway NE.
