Fulton County children can get up close to horses and learn about careers working with animals at a free event.
The Fulton Cooperative Extension and City of College Park will host Equine Education Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on April 30. The free event will be held Camp Fulton-Truitt 4-H Center, 4300 Herschel Road in College Park.
The event will include a mini-rodeo, riding demonstrations and tips how to care for horses.
