Free fans and energy-efficient light bulbs will be given away at a Sustainability Summit in East Point on Saturday. The 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. event is being sponsored by East Point City Councilman Alexander Gothard. The summit’s theme is “Let Us Show You How Going Green can Lower Your Monthly Bills.” It’s also a way of introducing residents to different ways more environmentally-conscious.
