The Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation has awarded DeKalb County’s fire/rescue office a grant to help with public outreach and education.
The $4,000 grant will help the county provide fire safety education in the coming year
A group of DeKalb area firefighters started the foundation in 1982 to help burn survivors and help prevent others from such injuries. In addition to helping fire service agencies, the foundation also supports medical facilities in Georgia.
