The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has developed a new program aimed at helping teenagers make better choices and steer away from drug use.
Sheriff Duane Piper stressed that the Teen Interception Program is not a “scared straight” program and will focus on awareness and education during a series of classes at the Forsyth County Public Safety Training Center, 3520 Settingdown Road, Cumming. Classes will be once a week for seven weeks.
The sessions are designed for youth ages 13-17. More information/registration: tip@forsythco.com, forsythsheriff.org or 678-455-8501
