Forsyth County officials will hold an electronics recycling event this weekend. It’s set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m Saturday at the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot 3 off of Castleberry Road.

Items that’ll be accepted from residents include laptops, stereos, CD players, cell phones, printers, gaming consoles and controllers. The minimum donation per carload drop-off is $5. A $20 additional fee will apply to each TV and $5 will be charged for computer monitors.

Some items, such as large wooden console TVs and toaster ovens won’t be accepted. For a complete list: keepforsythcountybeautiful.org.
