Forsyth County Schools officials will be hunting for dozens of qualified teachers during a planed educator job fair. It’s set for 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Feb. 28 at West Forsyth High School, 4916 Kelly Mill Road, Cumming.

The department is looking to add 111 new positions due to growth, the same as last year, said district spokeswoman Jennifer Caracciolo. They’ll also fill any vacancies that arise due to retirements (about 100 occurred last year) and resignations. Caracciolo said math and special-needs instructors will be critical positions to fill.

Applicants should be fully certified or eligible for a Georgia teaching certificate in 2015-2016.
