Forsyth County Senior Services will host free health and fitness activities for residents 50 years old and older as part of an “Active Today, Healthier Tomorrow” theme on National Senior Health and Fitness Day, Wednesday, May 30.

“We are excited to show residents the benefits of fitness through various activities in a fun and safe environment,” said Senior Services Director Ruthie Brew.

Mini-exercise classes, game stations and information on how to dress for fitness success are scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Sexton Hall Enrichment Center, 2115 Chloe Road.

Events for more active adults are planned for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Hearthstone Lodge Fitness Facility, 7305 Lanier Drive, with games in the great room, staffing at outdoor fitness machines and open swim events in the pool.
