Forsyth County residents will have an opportunity in June to view and comment on an updated master plan for Caney Creek Preserve.
The plan will be presented at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Forsyth Parks and Recreation Board, 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at the Fowler Park Recreation Center, 4110 Carolene Way, Cumming.
“We encourage the community to attend the meeting to see the design plans and provide their thoughts,” said Parks and Recreation Director Jim Pryor.
The master plan project, funded by SPLOST VII, was the subject of a public meeting in March where residents’ comments were taken on updates to present facilities and additional amenities, officials said.
Caney Creek Preserve, at 2755 Caney Road, Cumming, currently has a dog park, 1.5-mile nature trail, playground and two picnic pavilions available for daily rentals, according to its web page. Information: https://bit.ly/2VZ2xLT
