Forsyth County’s process of updating its comprehensive plan, dubbed Foster Forsyth, is underway and a series of public input visioning workshops have been set to gather feedback.

The first is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the banquet room of the Central Park Recreation Center, 2300 Keith Bridge Road, Cumming.

Attendees will hear about recent county demographic, housing, economic development and land use trends and will take part in guided discussions on the county’s direction and top goals on housing, employment, quality of life and other areas.

Other sessions are set between April 20 and 27 at different locations/times. The Board of Commissioners seeks to adopt an updated plan by year’s end.
